| holysmokeMi 7.11.07, 19:22 | links/rächts goht numme de "standard" nimmi moll aa, well es wärde nur d bilder ustüschlet How to replace the Leopard dock texture: - Open Macintosh HD - Navigate to System/Library/CoreServices/ - Right click [ctrl+click] the "Dock" icon - Select "Show Package Contents" - Navigate to Contents/Resources - Copy the four original "scurve" PNG image file to a location to keep them safe - To ensure that the files can be overwritten without getting a "File is currently in use..." error, tell the Dock to position itself on the left or right side of the screen. - Relaunch Dock to clear the scurve files from use. For those not familiar with Terminal, the easiest way to do this is to launch Activity Monitor, select the process "Dock," and tell it to Quit. The dock will relaunch automatically. - Drag the four new scurve PNG's you've downloaded here into the Resources folder and authenticate the originals to be overwritten. - Relaunch dock one more time by telling it to quit. - When the dock relaunches, you can move it back to the bottom of the screen and the new scurve textures should now be in effect. If you don't like it, just repeat these steps, only drag the original scurve PNG's you moved to a safe location back into the Resources folder. These PNG's are open to personal edits if you like, I don't really care. it's your dock after all. |
