Beschreibung:	CUBE #8 Villa-Lobos meets Villalobos Heitor Villa-Lobos, James Barralet Cube Sessions presents classical music in a new environment: Pieces by Villa-Lobos, Bach, Schubert and Tschaikowsky remixed with electronic music. Subtle violins and melodious celli sounds meet rolling grooves, big basslines and stumping beats. Cube Session #8 brings classical music from the Brasilian composer and director Heitor Villa-Lobos together with electronic tracks from Ricardo Villalobos, a DJ from Berlin, well-known for his very own mix of House and Techno with elements from South-African percussion folk. Eight cellists from Sinfonieorchester Basel play the classical part, the new founded Band Amped & Wired combines elements of the concert with sounds and beats by Ricardo Villalobos: Villa Lobos meets Villalobos.
